Born in Palermo, he lives and works in Robbio, province of Pavia.
After a first experience in conventional B&W photography, he switched his work to gum dichromate.
He acquired a good knowledge in photography history following courses held by Pierangelo Cavanna at Istituto Bergogna in Vercelli, implementing -at the same time- the technicalities of ancient printing systems with a 1994 stage, held by Lagrasta and Pasini, at Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea in Pavullo (MO).
Beyond many national acknowledgements, he showed his images in personal and collective exhibitions.

In 1997 joins enthusiastically the Gruppo Rodolfo Namias, becoming one of the most active members. In last years he has successfully dedicated his activity to oleotypes.
