Born in Merano, he lives in Lagundo (BZ) where he is a technician at the Civic Theatre of Merano.

In 1980 he begins taking pictures and becomes fond of b/w, shooting theatre and ballet. In 1990 he studies the Zones System.
After a workshop on gum bichromate with Roberto Lagrasta and Giorgio Giachello, he begins a new course of expressive research by using the old techniques.
He shows his works in collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
