Born in Ferrara many years ago, retired, he left us on February 13th 2006.
Graduated in Chemistry and in Pharmacy, he has been a University teacher in Electrochemistry.
He has been interested in Photography since 1939 and has collaborated to Tutti Fotografi and Progresso Fotografico for more than 30 years.
He has been author of some photography books: among them Antiche Tecniche, a manual dedicated to the old printing techniques.
This book was written in collaboration with GRN, that was founded -among other- by him.
His main interest was the photographic technique, being a darkroom expert operator in treatments, both for dias and negatives, B&W and colour.
Because of the particularly long photographic activity, he had practically lost his original creativity and limited his work to technical problems.
He worked extensively on the old printing techniques, having tested them all, except platinum-palladium.
His friends of GRN will remember him not only for his undisputed technical knowledge, but especially for the humanity of his character, and for his moral stature.

· One for All (only one negative, many techniques)
