Born in 1954 in Frattamaggiore, province of Napoli, he lives in Assago, province of Milano since 1966. Self taught person, he learned B&W developing and printing, as well as landscape photography taking part to lessons held by Roberto Garulli. Studying the photography history, he was bewitched by pictorialism. He experimented various ancient printing techniques as gum, carbon, oleotypes, ozotypes and kallitypes.
In 1991 he is among the founders of the GRN.
He has shown his images in collective and personal exhibitions. He is still experimenting ancient techniques, which enables him to get a deeper acquaintance of pictorialism, a movement born in France in the second half of the XIX century, spread afterwards in Europe and in USA.
